Integrative Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, IEMT & Somatic Therapy in Feltham, West London & Online

Modalities

I work across four core modalities: integrative psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, IEMT and somatic therapy. In practice, I use these either as standalone approaches or blended together, depending on what will genuinely help you most.

Integrative Psychotherapy

Integrative psychotherapy is a flexible, whole-person approach that draws on tools and techniques from a range of therapeutic traditions, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy and humanistic therapy. Rather than fitting you into a single model, I tailor the approach to you, so that our work reflects your unique history, needs and goals. Sessions typically involve open, exploratory conversation, but may also include specific techniques drawn from any of these traditions, depending on what you're working through in a given week. This approach is particularly well suited if you're looking to understand not just what you're struggling with, but why.

Integrative Hypnotherapy

Integrative HypnotherapyHypnotherapy offers a gentle, focused way of accessing the subconscious mind, helping to shift patterns and beliefs that may be difficult to reach through talking alone. It isn't about losing control or being unconscious. Rather, it's a relaxed, guided state in which you remain fully aware, while becoming more open to exploring beliefs and responses that sit beneath the surface. As part of my integrative approach, hypnotherapy can be woven into our wider work together, or used as a standalone tool, depending on what serves you best.

IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy)

During an IEMT session, we begin by identifying a specific emotional response or recurring pattern that you'd like to explore. I then use guided eye movements to help shift the imagery, feeling, physical response or language associated with that pattern. You don't need to disclose the details of past experiences or trauma, you only need to hold the memory in mind as we work. Many clients find this approach feels more contained and less overwhelming than traditional talking therapy.

IEMT and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) both use guided eye movements to reduce distressing emotional responses, but they differ in structure and focus. EMDR follows an eight-phase process that includes detailed history-taking, desensitisation and body scans. IEMT, by contrast, works with the present emotional imprint left by an experience, rather than reprocessing the original event itself. This makes it a valuable option if you'd prefer not to revisit the details of what happened, or if you're looking for a more focused, shorter-term intervention.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy recognises that the body holds onto stress and trauma just as the mind does. Even after we've made sense of something intellectually, the body can continue to carry tension, anxiety or dysregulation from past experiences. Working somatically alongside talking therapy allows us to support the release of tension and distress held physically through breathwork, gentle movement and body awareness. This approach helps you feel more grounded, regulated and at home in your body, not just in your thinking.

A Blended Approach

Many of my clients benefit most from a combination of these approaches, rather than working within a single modality alone. A session might begin with talking therapy, move into somatic awareness, and draw on hypnotherapy or IEMT techniques where they're useful. Where it's right for you, I bring psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, IEMT and somatic work together into one integrated, blended approach, allowing us to work with your mind, body and sense of self as a whole, rather than treating them separately.
